In dieser Woche habe ich eine Postkarte von einer Lehrerin aus Moskau erhalten. Die Postkarte trägt das Motiv von Valentina Serova. Der Name sagt mir nichts und somit habe ich mich mal auf die Suche gemacht, wer das überhaupt ist.
Valentina Serova war eine bekannte Schauspielerin in der Sowjetunion. Sie lebte von 1917 bis 1975. Konstantin Simonov widmete ihr das bekannte Gedicht „Wait for me“. Das Gedicht hat viele Menschen in der Sowjetunion im 2. Weltkrieg berührt. In Russland bezeichnet man diese Zeit auch „The Great Patriotic War“.
